This event will be held at Now Studio. The group will be facilitated by Caprice Fox. Caprice has been a primary school educator in Bristol for the past six years and for the past two years has worked for Black Mothers Matter UK, as a group facilitator and content creator as well as leading on education. She works passionately to support under-represented groups who do not see themselves in the classroom as well as supporting educators to have diverse and inclusive learning environments and ensuring they are being actively anti-racist in their practice.

Anti-Racism in the family

• We will take look at our values and how they guide and impact the way we navigate the world and how we parent

• The difference between impact and intent in conversations about race

• How to address racism in our family relationships and settings

• How to challenge problematic language & behaviours from our family and friends

This event will be capped at 8 attendees and is for mixed heritage families only.
