We are hosting our third walk with Leanne from Soul Trail Wellbeing in Stoke Park on Sunday 16th of March.
We will meet at Snuff Mills car park at 10am, and then walk over to Stoke Park together.
The walk will include a hill and some incline, so please wear comfortable layers, including a waterproof coat and a backpack so that you can move freely. Please ensure you wear suitable footwear, as some areas may be muddy or off the footpath. Hiking boots or good trainers are advised.
Soul Trail Wellbeing CIC is a non-profit organisation offering free nature based walks & 6 week programmes to help support mental and physical health.
Leanne started the organisation during lockdown, when she noticed as a therapist, the benefits nature had on her clients and how much it improved her own wellbeing. They have since hosted over 50 walks, and their attendees have shown an increase in happiness and confidence and a decrease in stress and/or anxiety. The walk will include reconnecting with nature through mindfulness, foraging, & nature-based activities, meeting other Mixed Heritage women, and enjoy the beauty of green spaces in Bristol!
